About the position

The Counter Server at Clique Hospitality is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and drink orders, serving items, preparing checks, and processing payments. This role emphasizes efficiency and courtesy, ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience without the need for night or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take customer food and drink orders.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Prepare itemized checks and accept payments.
• Escort guests to tables and serve customers seated at counters.
• Set up and clear tables as needed.
• Operate a cash register and check identification for alcohol purchases.
• Provide high-quality service in a courteous manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Certification as per state regulations.
• Valid Food Handlers certification as per state regulations.
• Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly.
