About the position
As a Counter Server at Swedish Hill Westlake, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service in a new restaurant environment. Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming guests, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly and polite manner.
- Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and service.
- Demonstrate menu knowledge and sales skills, answering questions and making suggestions.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and provide beverage services.
- Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests.
- Complete all side work as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Active TABC and ServSafe certification required.
- Minimum of 1-year serving experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and people skills required.
- Strong verbal communication skills required.
- Good working knowledge of beverages and willingness to learn.
- Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively.
