About the position

The C-UAS Operations Manager at Parsons/Xator LLC is responsible for overseeing a team of C-UAS professionals across multiple locations, ensuring the operational effectiveness of the program. This role involves managing personnel, developing operational procedures, and maintaining communication with various teams to support mission success for U.S. government customers.

Responsibilities

• Managing 19 personnel including Managers, Technicians, and Operators across 5 different locations.
• Developing Standard Operational Procedures for C-UAS Watch-Standers.
• Creating Concept of Operation documents for new system deployments and upgrades.
• Reviewing and approving C-UAS watch schedules.
• Reviewing and routing Travel Requests.
• Attending weekly meetings with the travel department to address pre-travel requirements.
• Holding weekly meetings with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment readiness.
• Reviewing documents developed by the operations team for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Reviewing daily C-UAS operational logs and system logs for completeness.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering management or Business Management with 2 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree in engineering or business with 5 years of experience, or 15 years of experience managing operations and maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
