About the position

As a Senior Counterproliferation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing actionable intelligence and context to support critical decisions made by government leaders. Your specialized experience and attention to detail will be essential as you conduct all-source analytic production with a focus on Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) analysis. You will engage in collection activities that align with strategic and tactical intelligence priorities, particularly in response to military contingency operations. Your analysis will encompass WMD threats, the nexus of CBRNE and counterthreats, missile systems, advanced weaponry, and related military operations. In this position, you will generate written intelligence products that adhere to Intelligence Community (IC) Tradecraft Standards, utilizing a diverse array of intelligence resources and tools. You will be responsible for briefing senior Department of Defense (DoD) leaders and producing various intelligence documents, including white papers, regional threat analyses, and both short- and long-term assessments. Responsibilities

  • Conduct all-source intelligence analysis focusing on WMD and CBRNE.
  • Participate in collection activities supporting strategic and tactical intelligence priorities.
  • Analyze WMD threats, CBRNE and counterthreat nexus, missiles, and advanced weapons.
  • Generate written intelligence products in accordance with IC Tradecraft Standards.
  • Brief analysis to senior DoD leaders and produce white papers and threat assessments.
  • Provide strategic advice and technical guidance to Defense planners and policymakers.
  • Mentor and lead other analysts to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience in conducting all-source intelligence analysis and working with intelligence systems and tools.
  • Experience with collecting and analyzing CBRNE data to provide advice and recommend solutions for countering proliferation issues.
  • Experience with threat network analysis.
  • Knowledge of threat groups, including state or non-state actors.
  • Knowledge of intelligence support to military plans and exercises.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to Defense planners and policymakers.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree and 17+ years of experience with all-source intelligence or Master's degree and 12+ years of experience with all-source intelligence.
