About the position

The Country Project Manager (CPO) at ManTech is responsible for leading the CPO cadre to ensure the successful execution of various project management tasks related to system installations, operations, and maintenance. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating overseas deployments while serving as the primary point of contact for all related activities. The CPO will work closely with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to achieve mission objectives and recommend process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the CPO cadre in the successful completion of project management responsibilities.
  • Planning, pre-staging, directing, scheduling, and ensuring timely execution of tasks for new system installations, operations, and maintenance.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all overseas deployments.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Logistics teams for day-to-day execution of installation and integration tasks.
  • Managing interactions with external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of mission objectives.
  • Communicating status and information to the Sponsor and documenting appropriately.
  • Recommending process improvements and cost-saving measures for potential approval and implementation.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant experience serving as a Project Manager or in a similar role leading high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or five additional years of relevant project management experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overseas as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience managing worldwide projects and interactions with worldwide stakeholders.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
