About the position

The Country Sales Manager for the US Instrumentation sector at IMI Precision Engineering is responsible for aligning regional sales strategies with global plans, developing and executing commercial strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets, and expanding the customer base. This role focuses on growing the Aftermarket, New Construction, and Key Account OEM business while generating new customer solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Align regional sales strategy with global instrumentation strategic plans.
  • Develop and execute regional strategic sales and commercial plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Expand customer base in targeted segments and appraise new opportunities and ROI.
  • Build an understanding of customers and market dynamics in the Instrumentation sector.
  • Ensure above-market revenue growth through an active pipeline of projects.
  • Deliver sales and gross margin for the Instrumentation sector and ensure budget delivery.
  • Manage the book-to-ship process to improve in-year sales.
  • Support sales targets by developing effective pipeline forecast processes.
  • Collaborate closely with customer service, technical sales support, R&D, product management, and operations.
  • Capitalize on aftermarket focus and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience in relevant industry.
  • Proven experience in senior global sales in the engineering/technology sector.
  • Strong growth mindset with a track record of success.
  • Highly commercial and results-driven with skills in managing core processes.
  • Ability to operate within a global, project-based manufacturing/technology business.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to deliver results.
  • Experience in a metrics-focused environment with reporting and analysis capabilities.
  • Financial acumen and ability to understand financial language.
