About The Position
The County Extension Director (CED) serves as the administrative leader for the County Extension, responsible for providing visionary leadership and coordinating a comprehensive Extension program that meets the needs of county citizens. This role involves close communication with the District Extension Director and the County Manager, ensuring effective management of resources and fiscal responsibility for county and state appropriated funds. The CED is also tasked with marketing Extension programs and their impacts, while maintaining collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.
