Responsibilities

  • Carry out office activities and functions related to program areas administered in the county.
  • Interpret and explain procedures, program regulations, and forms to producers and agency personnel.
  • Utilize various web-based software applications to maintain producer data and process automated forms.
  • Plan and carry out assigned tasks with a high degree of initiative and judgment.
  • Resolve problems encountered in the execution of duties.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
  • High school graduate or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (or 17 for high school graduates).
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and/or fingerprint check is required.
  • Must register with Selective Service if applicable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in agricultural operations or management.
  • Knowledge of governmental programs and customer service functions.
