About the position

NOW Courier is seeking entrepreneurial individuals to join our fleet as delivery service providers. The role involves ensuring timely and efficient delivery of cargo while maintaining exceptional customer service. Drivers will utilize their own vehicles and manage their own business operations, including financial management and equipment supply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cargo is picked up and delivered on time from specific locations to customers.
• Use GPS or mapping software to chart and follow efficient delivery routes.
• Maintain communication with customers and dispatchers, providing real-time updates and addressing issues.
• Adhere to traffic laws, secure cargo during transport, and use appropriate safety gear.
• Meet unique customer delivery requirements to maintain trust and confidence.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and handling complaints.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills when faced with unexpected challenges.

Requirements

• Must own a large SUV or larger vehicle that can pass a multi-point inspection.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Possess a smartphone capable of running the driver app.
• Valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
• Pass a comprehensive driver screening including driving history, criminal background check, and substance abuse screening.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., with or without an assistive device.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in customer service or delivery roles.
