The firm offers virtual interviews that will commence immediately, allowing for a swift hiring process. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for various clerical duties, including delivering and picking up documents using their personal vehicle, for which mileage will be reimbursed. The candidate will also relieve the receptionist during lunch and breaks, ensuring smooth operations within the office. Additional responsibilities include scanning documents, sorting or classifying information, and maintaining organized file records. The candidate will be tasked with coding files for proper placement or storage and ensuring that the file room and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized. Moreover, the position involves entering information into a database to maintain up-to-date file records and fostering positive relationships with staff members. Adherence to policies and confidentiality regulations is crucial to safeguard sensitive data and information. The candidate will also assist the IT Clerk and IT Manager with various tasks, including troubleshooting software issues and setting up computers, with training provided for these responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, making this a dynamic role within the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver/pick up documents using personal vehicle.
  • Relieve receptionist during lunch and breaks.
  • Scan documents and sort or classify information.
  • Add new material to file records and create new records as necessary.
  • Code files for proper placement or storage.
  • Ensure file room and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Enter information into the database to maintain up-to-date file records.
  • Maintain good and positive relations with staff.
  • Follow policies and confidentiality dictations to safeguard data and information.
  • Assist IT Clerk and IT Manager with tasks ranging from troubleshooting software issues to setting up computers.

Requirements
