About the position
Ameriship Parcel Delivery is seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team as independent contractor delivery drivers in the Kansas City area. As a leader in medical overnight and courier delivery services, we pride ourselves on providing timely and efficient delivery solutions across multiple states including Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Missouri, Kansas, Florida, Colorado, Georgia, and Illinois. Our primary focus is on pharmacy delivery, ensuring that packages are delivered within one hour to the next business day. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing for both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a pay range of $600 to $1,200 per week based on deliveries completed. In this role, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages to both residential and business addresses. As an independent contractor, you will need to utilize your own vehicle to complete daily routes. The job requires a strong sense of direction, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage your time effectively. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as is the ability to lift packages weighing up to fifty pounds without assistance. Familiarity with handheld devices and a working smartphone is necessary to assist with deliveries. While we prefer candidates with verifiable experience from companies like FedEx or UPS, we welcome all applicants who meet the basic requirements. The delivery routes will vary in length, and you can expect to work approximately 7-10 hours each day. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with routes expected to be completed by 7 PM. Additionally, drivers will be required to perform pickups between 4:30 PM and 7 PM on a weekly rotational basis. - Pass a background verification.
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds without assistance.
