In addition to delivery responsibilities, the Courier is tasked with the general care and maintenance of the courier vehicles. This includes ensuring that the vehicles are kept clean and orderly, maintaining gas levels, and being aware of the vehicle's condition and maintenance needs. The Courier must also effectively use resources such as Soft Express software and a PDA device to organize and document activities throughout their shifts. Communication with management regarding any deviations from the assigned route is essential, as is the ability to handle packages with care to protect their contents and privacy. The role also emphasizes courtesy and communication, requiring the Courier to conduct themselves as a professional representative of Holland Hospital.
