About the position
The position involves being a driver/operator of company vehicles, providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. The individual will check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provide related customer service functions. The role requires driving vehicles that are not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles for delivery and pick-up of packages.
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
- Provide customer service functions related to deliveries.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Good human relations and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License for the past three years.
- Consistently lift 50 pounds.
