About the position
The Driver/Operator position involves the operation of company vehicles to ensure the timely and courteous delivery of packages while providing excellent customer service. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to handle packages of varying weights, contributing to the overall efficiency of the delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate company vehicles for package delivery.
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery of packages.
- Perform related customer service functions.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
