About the position

The courier/transport driver at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and professional transportation of donors to various medical facilities. This position is integral to the nonprofit's mission of providing individualized care for patients facing chronic kidney disease. The driver is responsible for maintaining the vehicle and equipment, ensuring all necessary supplies are available, and communicating effectively with dispatch. This full-time role requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the organization and its patients.

Responsibilities

• Transporting donor in a safe and professional manner
• Communicates with dispatch in order to receive relevant data and instructions
• Maintain a professional behavior, and attitudes in regards to customers, visitors, and coworkers
• Completion of vehicle maintenance inspection prior to daily vehicle usage for safe and comfortable patient transport
• Capable of understanding directions and the ability to read and use maps accurately
• Perform all related duties as assigned by Dialysis Clinic, Inc.

Requirements

• Must have a current and valid Tennessee driver's license
• Must pass mandatory and random drug and alcohol screening
• Provide a current 5 year DMV printout
