About the position

The Court Operations Manager - Family Court position is responsible for assisting the Director of Family Court Services in the organization, development, and implementation of Family Court Services and Programs in Orange County. This role involves monitoring the performance of Family Court Programs to ensure compliance with statutes and established court policies. The position requires evaluating processes, analyzing data, and developing new workflows for Family Court Programs, as well as effective communication with various court partners.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Family Court Services in organizing and implementing Family Court Services and Programs.
• Monitor the performance of Family Court Programs to ensure compliance with laws and court policies.
• Evaluate processes and analyze data to develop and implement improved workflows.
• Research family law activities and analyze data to determine the effectiveness of family court activities.
• Develop program descriptions, position descriptions, and various instructional materials for employees and the public.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with the Judiciary, Court Administration, and other court partners.
• Supervise and manage court support staff, including assigning work and conducting performance appraisals.
• Conduct personnel management functions such as interviews, selection, and staff meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management, judicial or public administration, criminology, or a closely related field.
• Five years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of the legal system, family court procedures, and legal terminology.
