Food City is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team and provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for following the proper procedures of packaging a customer's order and adhering to the company's policies outlined in the bagging manual. Your role will include filling bag racks, unloading shopping carts for customers, and assisting in keeping shopping carts in their proper place on the front end. You will also assist cashiers in checking out customers as efficiently as possible and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot. Maintaining a neat and clean work station and surrounding areas is essential, as well as assisting in stocking milk and eggs and helping customers locate products. You will need to understand the ValuCard program to explain it to customers and assist in sweeping and mopping all areas of the store. Keeping bathrooms neat and clean, ensuring the parking lot and shopping carts are litter-free, and working in the parcel pick-up area as directed are also part of your responsibilities. You will replace misplaced items to their proper location, collect trash, bale boxes as needed, and properly use the intercom. Understanding shelf tags for price changes and stocking merchandise are additional duties that may be assigned as needed.
