About the position

The CoverMyMeds Technology Internship program at McKesson offers an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. You will have the chance to network with executives and receive structured performance coaching, which will help you grow both personally and professionally. The internship is a full-time, paid position located in Columbus, Ohio, and is ideal for students currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in fields such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. Responsibilities

  • Support the Software Engineering team with front-end development.
  • Assist the Technology Engineering Department on various IT projects as needed.
  • Focus on analysis, design, documentation, building, and automation of environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX and Analytics to find solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Scheduled to graduate in the Spring of 2026 or sooner.
  • Familiar with front-end web development technologies and techniques.
  • Proficient in development SQL database software.
  • Working knowledge of at least two programming languages or technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Elixir/Phoenix, JavaScript, React, Svelte, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Git, Docker, Splunk, Sidekiq, or Redis.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
