About the position

The Coverage Analyst Manager is responsible for overseeing the Medicare Coverage Analysis (MCA) process for clinical trials at Fox Chase Cancer Center. This role involves supervising Coverage Analysts, collaborating with Principal Investigators, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and current guidelines. The manager will also conduct Medicare Coverage Analysis and assist in the financial reconciliation of clinical trial invoices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Coverage Analysts at FCCC in creating Medicare Coverage Analyses (MCA).
• Meet with Principal Investigators to approve designations for clinical trials.
• Train Coverage Analysts and ensure adherence to current guidelines.
• Retrieve supporting documents and back-up information as needed.
• Conduct Medicare Coverage Analysis and assist in reconciling clinical trial invoices and billing.
• Collaborate with the Office of Clinical Research, Investigators, and external Sponsors for timely completion of analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required).
• 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, research, medical auditing, case management, healthcare insurance, and/or accounting (Required).
• 3 years of experience in a management role (Required).
• General experience and knowledge in completing Medicare Coverage Analysis in CTMS for clinical trials (Preferred).
• General experience and knowledge in coding with CPT (Preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Health Administration (MHA) (Preferred).
• 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment (Preferred).
