About the position

The RN Clinical Supervisor at CoxHealth is responsible for overseeing and supporting clinical care delivery within a specific clinic location. This role focuses on ensuring safe, high-quality care and involves assisting the Clinic Manager with various administrative and clinical tasks, including staff selection, performance evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives. The RN Clinical Supervisor plays a crucial role in coordinating care, managing clinical processes, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient safety and care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support clinical care delivery for a specific clinic location.
• Assist the Clinic Manager with clinical staff selection and onboarding.
• Conduct performance appraisals and manage disciplinary processes.
• Lead departmental quality improvement projects and report on outcomes.
• Enhance patient and staff satisfaction experience and scores.
• Manage employee time and attendance, as well as scheduling.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs and implement care plans.
• Coordinate and direct care provided by the care team.
• Address system issues to facilitate quality and efficient care.
• Provide oversight and management of direct clinical care and processes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year of nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred with at least one year in a specialization.
• Prior supervisory or training experience preferred.
• Ambulatory clinic experience preferred.
• Current Nursing License active in the state of Missouri required.
• BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire required.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Certification in applicable nursing specialty or ambulatory care nursing preferred.
