About the position

The CPA Alliance Relationship Director at BDO is responsible for managing relationships between Alliance members and BDO USA. This role involves onboarding new members, maintaining communication about BDO programs and services, and facilitating regional and national alliance meetings. The Director also plays a key role in recruiting new members and ensuring member satisfaction through program innovation and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships by keeping Alliance members informed of BDO programs and services.
• Serve as a liaison between Alliance firms, service providers, vendors, and BDO personnel.
• Assist in planning and coordinating regional alliance meetings.
• Provide suggestions for program content for national alliance meetings.
• Identify potential CPA alliance firms and assist in the recruiting process.
• Manage accounts receivable for Alliance firm's license fees and other dues to BDO.
• Collaborate with leadership in monitoring annual renewals and license contract renewals.
• Act as a backup for other Relationship Directors as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; focus in Business, Accounting or Marketing preferred.
• Ten or more years working with Accounting and/or consulting firms required.
• Ten or more years as a consultant to management professionals providing business and financial analysis required.
• Prior experience running an accounting or professional services practice preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
