About the position

The CPA Assistant at the Macon County Health Department is responsible for performing Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition services duties integrated with Case Management services. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with participants, healthcare professionals, and the community. The position is full-time, with a focus on supporting diverse community groups and ensuring effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition services duties.
• Integrate Case Management services into WIC nutrition services.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with participants, doctors, and the public.
• Work with diverse community groups to provide effective services.
• Assist with weights and measurements of adults and children.
• Manage and transport equipment weighing a minimum of 30 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA or Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License and appropriate auto insurance required.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with participants and professionals.
• Physical ability to assist with weights and measurements.
