About the position

The Biller position at our established CPA firm involves performing essential billing and administrative duties under the guidance of tax and accounting managers. Responsibilities

  • Generate client invoices and account statements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date billing records.
  • Post customer payments in the Accounts Receivable (A/R) system, including recording checks and credit card transactions.
  • Deposit customer checks into the bank, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
  • Respond to client and vendor questions or inquiries, managing vendor relationships as necessary.
  • Follow up on past due accounts, assisting with collections to maintain cash flow.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed to support the team.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in an office, administrative, or related setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and follow instructions accurately.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a technical school or college degree is a plus.
  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable (A/R) and collections is preferred.
