Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax and accounting engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely and accurate results.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns for trusts, partnerships, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Handle detailed client accounting tasks, including reconciliations, fixed asset schedules, payroll, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Research and provide consultation on tax matters, offering strategic insights to clients and management.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to resolve IRS issues and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's is a plus).
• CPA license or CPA track (if not fully licensed, must be on track to obtain).
• At least 3 recent years of experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns.
• Strong background in tax accounting, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Management experience is a plus.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
