About the position

The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare and file all required tax returns for both the company and the owner's personal taxes. The ideal candidate must possess a valid CPA license and have experience in handling tax-related matters for small businesses. This part-time role offers flexibility, allowing the CPA to work remotely from their home, which is particularly beneficial for those who may have other commitments or prefer a non-traditional work environment. In addition to tax preparation and filing, there is an optional opportunity for bookkeeping services. If the CPA provides these services, they will be responsible for reconciling bank accounts in QuickBooks, preparing payroll bi-weekly, organizing bill payments through Bill.com, and handling sales tax filings. The company currently utilizes QuickBooks Online for accounting and payroll, and the new CPA will need to facilitate a smooth transition of the payroll arrangement from the current CPA. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file all required tax returns for the company and the owner's personal taxes.
