About the position

Auditwerx is seeking a CPA with experience in IT assessments to perform engagements while managing client expectations and delivering outstanding client service. The role involves guiding team members in identifying controls and strategic thinking on client environments, ensuring effective communication with partners and the engagement team, and prioritizing workloads for assigned engagements.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT assessments and manage client expectations.
• Hold kick-off calls with clients to discuss engagement details.
• Guide team members in identifying controls and strategic thinking on client environments.
• Meet weekly with seniors to discuss the status of engagements and prioritize workloads.
• Ensure compliance with the Auditwerx process and timelines.
• Maintain close communication with partners and the engagement team for informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Valid CPA license is required.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of IT assessment experience in completing SOC reporting is required.
• Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.

Nice-to-haves

• CISSP or CISA certification preferred but not required.
• Preferred to live in Tampa, FL or the surrounding area.
