About the position

The CPA Audit Supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting the expanding Not-for-Profit (NFP) practice of the client. This position requires a strong background in public accounting, specifically in audit and tax, to ensure compliance and provide high-quality service to clients across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage audit engagements for Not-for-Profit clients.
• Prepare and review financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Prepare and review corporate, partnership, individual, and trust tax returns.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members during audits and tax preparations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Utilize accounting and tax software tools effectively to enhance productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (mandatory).
• CPA Certification (mandatory).
• Minimum of 5+ years of recent public accounting audit and tax experience.
• Experience in financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing various tax returns.
• Not-for-profit (NFP) experience is essential.
• Proficiency in accounting and tax software such as Prosystem Engagement, PPC Smart Tools, ProSystem Fx Tax, and QuickBooks.
