A Flathead Valley public accounting firm, in business for over 60 years, is seeking a CPA to join their team. This position offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to become a partner within 2 to 3 years, as they will be replacing a retiring partner. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience and hold a current CPA license. The CPA will be responsible for managing client relationships across a diverse range of industries, engaging in tax, audit, accounting, and consulting services. The firm prides itself on promoting a healthy work-life balance, offering half-day Fridays during the off-season, flexible working hours, and the autonomy to set and manage one’s own schedule. Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships across various industries.
  • Perform tax, audit, accounting, and consulting services.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
  • Current CPA license is required.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
