About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our public accounting firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen and a thorough understanding of financial concepts, enabling them to provide exceptional accounting services. This role involves working closely with clients to manage their financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Manage journal entries and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.
• Provide insights on financial management practices and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with securities law and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Familiarity with securities law and its implications for financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
