About the position

As a Senior Tax Accountant at CyberCoders, you will serve as the main point of contact for multiple clients, leading client meetings and ensuring their tax needs are met with precision and professionalism. Your role will involve proofing financial statements, tax returns, and other essential documents to maintain accuracy and compliance. You will engage in recurring tax planning for clients, which requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and strategies. Additionally, you will communicate with various taxing agencies to resolve issues and provide guidance to clients on tax-related matters. Researching tax-related issues will also be a critical part of your responsibilities, ensuring that you stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations that may affect your clients' financial situations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for multiple clients, leading client meetings.
• Proof financial statements, tax returns, and other documents for accuracy.
• Conduct recurring tax planning for clients to optimize their tax strategies.
• Communicate with various taxing agencies regarding client matters.
• Research tax-related issues to provide informed advice to clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Client management experience.
• Experience with individual tax, business tax, fiduciary tax, and estate tax.
• Ability to work overtime during busy season (mid-January through mid-April).
• CPA or EA certification.
