About the position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst position in the CPG Physician Billing Department is a full-time role focused on assisting with various functions within the patient billing department. The analyst will be responsible for resolving billing discrepancies, processing patient financial information, and managing tasks assigned to the department, among other duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with functions within the patient billing department for CPG revenue cycle as needed.
• Work reports to resolve billing and patient account discrepancies.
• Process patient financial information.
• Work and resolve tasks assigned to the department.
• Open and sort mail.
• Create encounters and enter charges.
• Answer phones and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School education required.
• Three (3) years' experience in a medical office setting, including excellent customer service skills.
• Experience working with insurance remittance notices and medical terminology.
• Proficient data entry skills.
• Ability to present written and verbal communication skills when working with others.
• Hands-on experience with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Nice-to-haves

• CPC Certification preferred.
