About the position

The CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Business Product Owner will lead the transformation of Emerson's Commercial Infrastructure globally. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and budget-compliant delivery of business and technology outcomes, collaborating with IT, business teams, and solution integrators. The position requires strategic vision execution, performance measurement, budget management, and comprehensive change management to ensure successful adoption across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic vision and execution for the CPQ theme, aligning it with broader business strategies.
  • Partner with IT and solution integrator leaders to ensure adherence to customer experience and process efficiency guidelines.
  • Establish key performance indicators to measure success and evaluate the impact of changes on efficiency and business performance.
  • Lead budget allocation and manage financial resources to ensure projects stay on budget and are delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to review progress, recognize achievements, and resolve roadblocks.
  • Own business requirement documentation and communicate decisions to IT and solution integrator teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with theme implementation, including technical and operational risks.
  • Act as the main point of contact for business customers and executive management throughout the project.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure enterprise-wide adoption, including training and communication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a product owner role, particularly in CPQ or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and technology integration.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
  • Experience in change management and user adoption strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with automation technology and software solutions.
  • Knowledge of performance measurement frameworks and KPIs.
