About the position

The CPR/BLS Instructor at Gosvea Inc. is responsible for teaching CPR and AED techniques to individuals and groups, ensuring compliance with American Red Cross standards. The role involves developing lesson plans, delivering training sessions, and evaluating student performance to ensure proficiency in CPR and basic life support. The instructor will work in various settings, including schools, hospitals, and community centers, and must possess the necessary certifications to teach these life-saving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans for Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED & Basic Life Support training.
• Deliver training sessions to individuals or groups.
• Demonstrate proper CPR/AED techniques in compliance with American Red Cross requirements.
• Provide feedback to students to help them improve their performance.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress to ensure proficiency in CPR and AED use.
• Ensure training materials are up-to-date and comply with relevant regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with CPR and AED training best practices.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and students.

Requirements

• Certification as a CPR Instructor by an accredited organization (e.g., American Red Cross, American Heart Association).
• Strong knowledge of CPR and AED techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare and deliver effective training sessions.
• Attention to detail and the ability to provide constructive feedback to students.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience teaching CPR and AED techniques for 2+ years.
• Ownership of multiple manikin sets (4+ sets) for training.
