About the position

The CPU Post-Silicon Engineering Program Manager will lead the planning and execution of silicon bring-up and debug activities for Apple's CPUs used in various products like the M1/M2 Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to drive multi-functional teams in resolving complex silicon issues and ensuring timely product development.

Responsibilities

• Developing post-silicon validation plans (what needs to be tested, by whom, and when).
• Driving debug of silicon issues (functional, electrical, performance, etc.) with CPU and multi-functional teams.
• Coordinating and prioritizing debug tasks and experiments, and following up on action items.
• Supervising issues and bugs across multiple projects and working with software, system, and other teams to get them resolved.
• Focused issue reporting and communication of program risks & status in multi-functional and executive forums.
• Materials management (parts, boards, etc.).

Requirements

• BS + 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven Silicon development experience in Design, Verification, Implementation, Physical Design, DFT or Validation.

Nice-to-haves

• CPU development experience.
• Experience in debug of CPU logic and circuit failures.
• Technical leadership and/or project management experience.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
• Strong time and task leadership skills with consistent attention to detail.
• Strong organization skills to organize self and the team's execution.
• Knowledge of CPU microarchitecture and validation tools.
