About the position

The CRA Fair Lending Program Manager at Johnson Financial Group is responsible for overseeing compliance initiatives related to Fair Lending and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). This role involves analyzing compliance risks, managing the Compliance Management Program, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. The manager will lead a team, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with various business units to implement compliance strategies and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain a comprehensive level of general compliance knowledge, especially with respect to compliance Area of Focus.
• Conduct and manage risk impact assessments/analyses for regulatory issues.
• Lead/Oversee the implementation of new rulemakings, including the 1071 small business data rule and the new CRA Modernization rule.
• Chair Responsible Lending and CRA Committee, managing companywide initiatives and monitoring the program for changes.
• Maintain strong internal partnerships, communicating pertinent information and assisting with strategy development and training efforts.
• Ensure timely responses to all inquiries for compliance assistance and/or rule interruption.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of compliance rules and regulations impacting the company, particularly in Fair Lending and CRA.
• Proficiency in analyzing compliance risk and related costs.
• Experience in managing compliance initiatives and programs.
• Strong understanding of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Housing Act, and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and manage compliance monitoring activities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in banking and wealth management regulations and operations.
• Knowledge of statistical data related to HMDA and CRA.
