About the position
The Bartender at Sidebar within Bode Nashville is responsible for creating a unique food and beverage experience for guests, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to health and safety standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a bar with minimal assistance while providing local recommendations and addressing guest inquiries effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves exceptional beverages and food products adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for products and menu items.
- Performs cashier duties including payment processing and cash handling.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace and stocks necessary items.
- Delivers exceptional service to Bode guests and acts as an ambassador of the brand by providing friendly and personal interaction.
- Runs daily reports and submits proper cash as a drop.
- Curates a unique Bode experience for the guest in every facet of their stay.
- Handles guest challenges and requests within the hotel by collaborating with other departments.
- Provides unique and local recommendations, including hotel amenities, local market items, restaurant reservations, events and tours, and transportation and travel arrangements.
- Participates in cross-training and assists other departments as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months in a customer service position in a hotel or comparable environment.
- Minimum of 1 year in a craft bartending role.
- High School diploma required.
- Valid Food Handlers Certification.
- Valid TABC Certification.
