About the position

The Craft Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Sundt Construction, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the hiring process for the craft workforce. This position involves administrative tasks related to recruitment, including coordinating new hire orientations, ensuring compliance with hiring paperwork, and maintaining applicant flow to meet diversity and compliance initiatives. The role requires close interaction with recruiters, candidates, and hiring managers, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and conducts new hire orientations including I-9 completion and verification through E-Verify system.
  • Ensures all new hire paperwork is complete, enters it into the HRIS system, and distributes paperwork to appropriate departments (i.e. HR, Safety, etc.).
  • Ensures job sites are completing all new hire paperwork consistently and accurately before employing individuals.
  • Responsible for posting craft positions to appropriate agencies to ensure applicant flow and maintain diversity and compliance initiatives.
  • Responsible for scheduling pre-employment drug screening and verifying results once reported.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-4 years administrative support experience.
  • Ability to manage a large and variable workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is required.
  • Good communication skills while demonstrating proper etiquette and professionalism via telephone and email.
  • High school graduate or equivalent is required; prefer a bachelor's degree or college-level coursework.
  • Prefer one to three years of recruitment support experience, customer service, administrative, or related work experience within the construction industry.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
