About the position

The General Tree Care Crane Operator at SavATree is a vital role responsible for providing high-quality tree care while adhering to safety standards. This position allows individuals to work outdoors, visiting various properties in the community, and collaborating with a dedicated team focused on safety and quality. The role emphasizes the application of industry knowledge and skills in daily operations, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes safely and efficiently to perform tree care tasks.
• Participate in tree removals, pruning, and cable bracing activities.
• Provide excellent service to clients while performing assigned job tasks.
• Engage in subcontracting work for other tree and steel companies, including moving hot tubs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of proper crane operation.
• Valid Driver's License, Class A CDL.
• Basic knowledge of common tree identification is a plus.
• Any tree experience is valued but not required.
• NCCCO or NCCER Certification is preferred but not required.
