About the position

This position involves the winterization of a crawlspace in a residential home, focusing on insulation and sealing to protect against cold weather. The work is to be completed in phases, ensuring that the crawlspace is adequately prepared for winter conditions.

Responsibilities

• Seal open vents with rigid foam board and foam sealant.
• Seal and insulate the rim joist area.
• Install a vapor barrier at least one foot up the wall.
• Take measurements for replacing the crawlspace door with a thick piece of pressure-treated plywood.

Requirements

• Experience in insulation and sealing work.
• Ability to work with rigid foam board and vapor barriers.
• Licensed and insured for home improvement work.
