About the position

The Creative Content Associate Producer at FOX 26 is responsible for transforming the delivery of news and information across various digital platforms. This role involves creating engaging and shareable content, managing livestreams, and optimizing user experience through real-time analytics. The position requires quick reactions during breaking news and severe weather situations, ensuring timely and relevant storytelling for digital audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create content from start to finish, including writing text-based stories, curating photos, editing videos, and creating graphics.
• Develop on-demand video content and manage livestreams for the FOX Local platform.
• Monitor analytics in real time to optimize the platform and enhance user experience.
• Create social media posts and assist FOX 26 talent in amplifying their social media presence with engaging content.
• React quickly to breaking news and severe weather situations, distilling information into digestible content across digital platforms.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing and publishing content, including news, on digital and social platforms preferred.
• BA/BS degree required, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or related fields with an emphasis on digital publishing.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
• Superior news judgment and impeccable writing and copy editing skills.
• Overwhelming attention to detail and ability to thrive under deadline pressure.
• Stellar communication skills and expertise in social media.
• Proficient in content management systems, video publishing, live streaming, and digital analytics tools.
• Experience in video and photo editing, with Adobe products being a plus.
