About the position

The Creative Content Videographer will be an integral part of the Creative Content Team at Buckle Brands, responsible for planning, developing, and executing short-form video shoots that align with the brand's marketing strategies. This role focuses on creating compelling storytelling moments that support various marketing activities across channels, ensuring that the content resonates with the brand's identity and engages the target audience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-departmental teams to define channel content needs.
• Create, plan, and execute approved short-form video content as required.
• Collaborate with the Photo Art Director to plan, schedule, and develop all shoot logistics, including travel, to realize unique storytelling moments.
• Research and understand merchandising strategies and brand positioning to effectively execute projects that align with business goals.
• Utilize best practices to create quality video content that can be leveraged across all Buckle-owned social accounts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in video post-production, including editing, grading, and formatting videos.
• Partner with Buying Teams and Store Teammates to ensure access to product.
• Categorize, file, and archive channel assets according to digital asset management protocols.
• Demonstrate comfort with directing while both behind and in front of the camera.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Two to four years of related experience and/or training as a videographer or photographer, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with TikTok and other short-form social platforms.
• Three to four years' experience filming and editing digital videos is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with various video editing software and tools.
• Strong understanding of social media trends and audience engagement strategies.
