About the position

The Creative Copywriter at MU Health Care is responsible for crafting clear, engaging, and concise copy for various marketing and communication channels. This role aligns with the organization's brand strategy and promotional goals, contributing to the overall mission of saving and improving lives through effective communication. The position requires collaboration with marketing strategists and designers to develop content strategies that engage healthcare audiences across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and develop content for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including landing pages, emails, digital and print ads, video scripts, social media, brochures, and direct mail pieces.
  • Deliver marketing and advertising copy with attention-grabbing headlines and clear calls to action.
  • Transform complex healthcare information into simple messages suitable for various print and digital channels.
  • Ensure tone and style are consistent with brand standards and voice across all mediums.
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists, designers, and other communicators to recommend and develop effective content strategies.
  • Utilize market and consumer research, industry trends, and subject matter experts to inform key messaging and writing accuracy.
  • Interview healthcare professionals and patients to incorporate unique perspectives into health and wellness articles.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including outlines, drafting, and interviews with subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in health care, hospitality, or service sectors.
  • Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
