About the position

Hinge is seeking a mid-level Creative Copywriter to join its brand team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating inspiring and contemporary work that resonates with users and reflects the brand's mission of fostering genuine connections. This role involves crafting engaging copy across various mediums, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to innovative marketing campaigns that align with Hinge's voice and narrative vision.

Responsibilities

• Write engaging copy for campaign concepts, brand narratives, scripts, and social posts.
• Develop out-of-the-box ideas for marketing campaigns based on insights and trends in dating and pop culture.
• Collaborate with creatives, marketers, product design, and love scientists to inspire daters worldwide.
• Represent the Hinge brand in Talent and Agency briefings.
• Explore and implement AI tools where appropriate.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of copywriting experience in-house or at an advertising agency.
• A portfolio showcasing 'big idea' thinking and well-crafted, concise copy across various mediums.
• Strong understanding of ethical language use and inclusion in communication.
• Experience writing across multiple formats, from product wayfinding to brand narratives.
• Ability to approach projects with heart, enthusiasm, and rigor.
