The Creative Designer at Loyola University Chicago will play a pivotal role in enhancing the university's visual narrative under the guidance of the Director of Creative within the University Marketing & Communications division. This position is essential for collaborating with marketing and brand leaders to meet the design needs of various initiatives and campaigns, ensuring that all outputs align with the university's brand standards. The Creative Designer will be responsible for creating both digital and print graphics, offering innovative creative solutions for campus groups, and maintaining strong relationships with university departments and external partners. In this role, the Creative Designer will develop and execute creative solutions that integrate with the university's visual identity, brand platform, and design standards. Daily responsibilities will vary based on project priorities and mediums, but will include managing creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. The designer will also innovate and develop technology-based creative solutions, incorporating feedback to refine design strategies. A collaborative work environment is promoted to enhance team creativity and productivity, and the designer will be expected to design diverse projects with strategic insights to produce appealing marketing and communication materials. Additionally, the Creative Designer will assist in developing and maintaining the university's brand system and creative expression through integrated marketing campaigns.
