About the position

The Creative Director position at PepsiCo is a pivotal role within the award-winning in-house agency team known as D3, which supports the PepsiCo Foods North America business. The Creative Director will be responsible for leading brainstorming and ideation sessions, developing brand platforms and campaigns, and creating compelling content that resonates with target audiences. In this role, the Creative Director will manage a team of creatives and freelancers, ensuring that all projects meet brand objectives and adhere to best practices across various media platforms. The position requires a hands-on leader who can inspire and motivate their team while also collaborating with external agencies and technology partners to achieve best-in-class results. The Creative Director will evaluate team performance, develop detailed timelines, and present work to internal stakeholders for approval. Responsibilities

  • Lead 360-degree campaigns that integrate media analytics and creative best practices for brands.
  • Manage a team of creatives and freelancers in the development and execution of content for brands.
  • Partner with outside agencies and technology platform partners to ensure proper execution and best-in-class learnings.
  • Manage and supervise multiple projects and teams (both internal and external).
  • Ensure the team has appropriate resources dedicated to the individual projects.
  • Meet brand objectives and ensure creative product adheres to best practices across media and platforms.
  • Ensure top-tier creative output that adheres to brand standards.
  • Lead brainstorm sessions and evaluate creative team performance.
  • Develop detailed timelines for project execution.
  • Present work to internal agency team partners, brand team, and other stakeholders for approvals.
  • Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences through various methods.
  • Develop and transform concepts into creative solutions, managing creative teams to achieve brand objectives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in a creative agency or in-house agency.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign CS5 or above.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and Keynote.
  • Preferable to have design skills and capabilities.
  • Creative experience with broad brand marketing capabilities in CPG and other categories.
  • Experience in marketing, brand development, innovation, shopper marketing, and/or consumer insights.
  • Strong consumer empathy and customer-centricity.
  • Proven collaboration abilities with both internal account and brand teams.
  • Strategic thinking and creative leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategy and ability to develop marketing tactics that deliver on brand objectives.
  • Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages visually and compellingly.
  • People management experience leading and inspiring teams of creative professionals.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to creatively stretch budgets.
