About the position

The Creative Director (Art) at Dentsu will lead the Performance Creative team, focusing on developing and executing impactful creative concepts for paid social media, online video, banners, and display advertising. This role emphasizes the importance of aligning creative choices with messaging strategies to meet client objectives while fostering a supportive culture and mentoring direct reports. The position requires a strong client-facing presence to nurture relationships and present innovative ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams in conceptual development and execution of engaging paid social media, OLV, banners, and display ads.
  • Ensure creative choices align with messaging strategies and elevate the quality of work.
  • Mentor direct reports and foster a supportive team culture.
  • Act as a client-facing voice, nurturing client relationships and presenting creative concepts.
  • Seek out new messaging innovations and technologies to cultivate new concepts and promote ideas.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of unique audiences to create relevant content.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in ideating and executing performance creative concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong strategic and creative skills in written, visual, and conceptual formats.
  • Excellent client service and presentation skills.
  • Experience using various technology platforms and media channels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams.
