Digitas Health is seeking a Creative Director (CD) to lead the creative work produced on two or three accounts, depending on their size. This leadership role is pivotal in assigning teams, inspiring them to generate innovative concepts, and ensuring that the quality of creative work meets client expectations. The CD will collaborate closely with account management to guarantee client satisfaction regarding the quality of services and responsiveness to their needs. This position is hybrid, requiring three days in the office each week, and the recruiter will discuss specifics, including any necessary accommodations, during the interview process. The Creative Director will engage in a variety of responsibilities, including creative and hands-on work, management, and leadership. In the creative aspect, the CD will help develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insight and inspiration, collaborate with the Art Director to produce standout concepts and campaigns, and take ownership of projects from start to finish. This includes estimating copy hours, participating in client meetings, leading concept presentations, and sharing responsibility with planning to shape strategic branding. In terms of management, the CD will assign creative teams based on their abilities and workloads, manage workloads to maximize productivity, and ensure that deadlines and budgets are met. They will also provide written and face-to-face feedback for annual performance reviews and ongoing feedback throughout the year, as well as identify and interview prospective creative candidates. As a leader, the CD will become the creative voice for their accounts, develop strong relationships with clients, and work with account management to grow business with existing clients. They will also address performance, workflow, and quality issues within the creative group and lead teams in the development of concepts and execution of all projects. The CD will ensure that all copywriters are trained and mentored to meet agency and client standards while also supporting their career goals. Furthermore, they will demonstrate an understanding of clients' products and marketing challenges, representing the agency at client meetings and social events.
