About the position

The role involves leading the brand voice and creative storytelling for Gap across all digital channels. The position focuses on developing seasonal brand stories and innovative digital designs that resonate with customers and differentiate the brand from competitors. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Creative and oversee a team of designers to ensure the creative vision aligns with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Head of Creative to push the creative vision of brand campaigns and deliverables.
  • Oversee and direct a team of senior and mid-level designers on the brand team.
  • Drive and iterate on the brand visual identity including graphic direction and photography/video style for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to conceptualize larger 360 brand campaigns.
  • Lead photo shoots for brand projects in partnership with the Head of Creative.
  • Ensure creative output is synergistic between product and creative visuals teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in brand creative and digital direction, with both agency and in-house experience preferred.
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing distinctive work that elevates a brand's creative and digital experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to articulate rationale and evoke excitement in recommendations.
  • Expertise in Adobe Suite, G-Suite, Keynote, Figma, and relevant tools.

  • Experience with Miro is a plus.
