About the position

The Creative Director for Experience Design in Sales & Marketing at Comcast is responsible for leading the design and strategy of digital experiences that enhance customer engagement and drive sales. This role focuses on creating innovative, user-friendly interfaces across various platforms, ensuring that the Xfinity brand delivers seamless and intuitive experiences. The position requires collaboration with multiple business teams to align customer expectations with business goals, while also managing a team of designers and developers to execute the vision effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Sets and directs the creative direction and strategic guidance of all projects
  • Oversees and builds a team, creating processes and collaborating with various creative teams within the Xfinity Creative shop
  • Partners with business teams to craft and deliver experience designs
  • Leads the connectivity of experiences through journey flows from prospect to existing customer
  • Maintains high standards of product usability and design quality, taking the lead role in art direction
  • Manages and leads a team of UEX Designers, Front End Developers, Information Architects, Content Developers, Usability Analysts, and consultants
  • Drives the design and development of innovative user interfaces and interaction styles
  • Contributes to developing a long-term UEX vision for consumer-focused experiences
  • Oversees UI initiatives and ensures recommendations inform web strategies and designs
  • Improves efficiency by establishing and tracking performance metrics
  • Manages outside vendors, contractors, and related budgets
  • Expert in development methodologies that support collaborative and iterative design
  • Ensures a positive, collaborative atmosphere across all of Comcast
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 10+ years of relative work experience
  • Expertise in Branding, Design, Invision, User Experience (UX), and User Experience (UX) Design
