About the position

The Creative Director Experiential at 160over90 is a senior-level role focused on leading the creation of innovative cross-channel campaigns that resonate with culture and drive brand engagement. This position requires a deep understanding of both digital and traditional brand building, with a particular emphasis on experiential marketing. The Creative Director will collaborate with various teams to deliver outstanding creative work, advocate for ideas, and ensure consistency across all brand narratives. The role demands a self-starter who thrives under pressure and is passionate about storytelling and creative excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of breakthrough cross-channel campaigns that engage consumers and elevate the agency's profile.
  • Conceptualize creative from brief to end product while managing multiple projects and tight timelines.
  • Deliver concise and clear feedback to assigned creative teams to ensure high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure creative work aligns with brand objectives and stands out in the market.
  • Advocate for creative ideas by confidently presenting to leadership, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Stay updated on marketing trends and culture to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Develop and curate exceptional concepts across various advertising mediums including digital, experiential, and traditional media.
  • Conduct ongoing performance reviews of the team and provide opportunities for creative growth.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure projects are completed within timelines and budget parameters.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience within an ad agency or similar setting.
  • Degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing/communications or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of experiential and production, including consumer activations and large-scale events.
  • Strong understanding of consumer journeys to create seamless and exciting experiences.
  • Keen eye for design, including 2D/motion graphics and environmental design.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience with hospitality, conventions, concerts, and large-scale events.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends.
